Hahndorf interim animal shelter inc.

The hahndorf interim animal shelter is a small 'not for profit' 'no kill' animal shelter run by volunteers. We give cats and dogs a second chance at life and help find them their forever homes. We are a non government funded charity, which rely solely on the generosity of the community. The funds raised are to continue the important work and also continue the general running of the shelter from paying the electricity bills, maintenance, vet bills, insurance, rubbish removal etc. We have cats and dogs come to us in all different conditions, almost all need veterinary care, all animals are vet checked, vaccinated, deflead, wormed and de-sexed (unless to young), some need extra veterinary care from dental procedures, skin conditions, to simple grass seeds needing to be removed etc.we provide a stimulating, friendly environment to help benefit the animals to maximise their rehabilitation time. It is a great privilege to see the change in these animals, giving them a second chance. And it is a real joy to see them find there forever homes.
